Oleaster – Bee Magnet, Natural Fertilizer & Edible Berries for Jam

The oleaster (Elaeagnus angustifolia) has such an intensely sweet fragrance in May and June that bees come in droves – making it one of the most valuable bee food sources of early summer. It is also exceptionally undemanding: it thrives equally well in the garden and in pots, tolerates cold, heat, and wind, and only needs sufficient light.

Particularly noteworthy: The oleaster lives in symbiosis with certain bacteria and thus produces its own nitrogen fertilizer – and even makes it available to other plants. Its berries are edible and are excellent for jam or alcoholic beverages.

  • ✓ 5 Seeds of Forestry Quality – for reliable germination
  • ✓ Plastic-free packaging – in a 100% compostable Seed-Cap with grass paper closure
  • ✓ Origin Germany – regional & sustainable
  • ✓ Natural Nitrogen Fertilizer – good for the entire garden
  • ✓ Edible Berries & Valuable Bee Pasture – benefits for people and nature

🌼 Package contents: 5 seeds | approx. 2 g | Seed-Cap made of grass paper
