Interesting facts about the Mediterranean Cypress

The Mediterranean cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) has been a symbol of hope, mourning, and the eternal cycle of life since ancient times – and one of the most elegant tree forms in the world.

• Growth: columnar & dense – unmistakable Mediterranean silhouette
• Fast-growing: 4–6 meters in 10 years possible
• Evergreen – green & decorative all year round
• Location: semi-shady, medium soil moisture
• Protect young plants from frost – older specimens are more cold-hardy
• Culturally significant: often found near places of worship & cemeteries – symbol of hope & eternity

How it works

Press seeds into the soil, water – and let them grow. After cultivation, you can plant the seedling directly with the compostable pot into the ground or a larger container. The pot decomposes without residue within 12–24 months. Your plant roots freely and undisturbed.
