Balsam Fir – Comforting Christmas Scent, Canada Balsam & Hardy North American Native

The Balsam Fir (Abies balsamea) originates from the forests of North America and brings with it a very special magic: If you rub a few needles in your palms, a comforting, Christmasy scent immediately delights the sense of smell. No wonder it is so popular as a Christmas tree.

The famous Canada balsam – a traditionally used natural resin – is extracted from the resin of young trees. The Balsam Fir grows slowly (max. 5 cm per year), reaches up to 30 meters in height, and is exceptionally undemanding: It thrives on little water, grows well even on sandy soils, and is fully winter hardy.

  • ✓ 10 seeds of forestry quality – for reliable germination
  • ✓ Plastic-free packaging – in 100% compostable Seed-Cap with grass paper closure
  • ✓ Origin Germany – regional & sustainable
  • ✓ Christmasy scent & compact growth – ideal for garden & containers
  • ✓ Winter hardy & easy to care for – undemanding on almost any soil

🌲 Package contents: 10 seeds | approx. 3 g | Seed-Cap made of grass paper
